Guidelines
From StoryChasers
While StoryChasers is a fairly open and flexible project, we do offer some guidelines for participants which we hope will enable teachers as well as students to have a positive and successful experience as StoryChasers. Please feel free to edit and contribute to these guidelines which are offered as suggestions rather than requirements.

Parent Permission Forms
StoryChaser project organizers strongly encourage participants to utilize parent permission forms before involving students in StoryChaser activities. This forms should be signed by both parents and students, and maintained by the local StoryChaser lead teacher. Sample permission forms will be added here at some point. (If you have sample permission forms and are not able to upload them here on the wiki directly, upload the files as attachments on your own website, then link those uploaded forms from this page.
Video Uploads and Sharing
A growing list of video uploading and sharing website possibilities are included on our Video Publishing Options page. StoryChaser project organizers recommend that when publishing a student-created video, teachers post the video at least two places:
- Upload the video to a moderated video uploading and sharing website.
- Upload a compressed copy of the finished video as an attachment to a new blog post on our StoryChaser learning community, in the appropriate topical group for the story. Also include the link to the cross-posted video in the learning community blog post, as well as the embed code for the video to permit direct browser-based playback of the video.
